Bhupendra is Development Professional with a multidisciplinary background in Youth development, Entrepreneurship, Sanitation, Education & Disaster Management. He graduated in Zoology and choose development sector while focusing on empathy Equity and equality for everyone. His journey to explore social sector started through the platform of the National Service Scheme (NSS). During his tenure, he worked as a district leader managed youth programs of 24 colleges. He has undergone extensive Disaster management training through Civil Defense, Government of Maharashtra, where he learned and delivered a session on various disaster management programs to various institutes including fire brigade. In 2015 he received “Gandhi Fellowship” wherein as a fellow I spent 2 years in government schools of Mumbai and had developed and implemented School Excellence program, community development program & Principal Leadership program under Sarva Shiksha. Later, joined the Ministry of Drinking water & Sanitation, Govt. of India as a consultant and made 2 districts as an open defecation free in Maharashtra.
Bhupendra’s work has been recognized by many organization in he received many awards by NGOs and government, one of them is Indira Gandhi National Award by President of India at President House in 2012. Currently, he is engaged in multiple profiles with his extensive network of volunteer & Professionals across India. He is the adviser to few NGOs also working as a freelance consultant to Aga Khan Agency for Habitat
